Late finish last night with the new headlamp. The main line was cracked under tree roots feeding two valves. I couldn’t access the pipe to repair it, so the only solution was to relocate both valves away from the tree and to help prevent future issues.

Backyard irrigation redesign 💧

After a new patio and fresh sod, the existing system wasn’t providing proper coverage. We relocated heads along the fence line, around the patio, and along the house to eliminate dry spots and improve efficiency.

Also corrected a common issue—this system had a mix of spray heads and rotors on the same zones. Now everything is matched for proper performance and even watering.

If your yard has been upgraded but your irrigation hasn’t, it might be time for a redesign.

Just wrapped up a big irrigation project for a house flipper. System hadn’t worked in years — a couple broken wires, a couple bad valves, lots of PVC breaks, and almost every head replaced. Backyard is now completely new irrigation. System is back up and runing!

Without the proper backflow prevention, irrigation water was contaminating the drinking water supply, and the setup was also leaking."
