Before hiring an electrician, ask yourself:
Is your contractor actually licensed, bonded, and insured?
Or are they just *saying* they are?
A lot of homeowners don’t realize this, but just because someone “does electrical work” doesn’t mean they’re legally qualified to do it.
Ask for their state license number.
Ask for proof of insurance
Ask if they’re properly bonded.
If they can’t provide it, that should tell you everything you need to know.
For reference:
**Sheets Electrical – Ohio Electrical Contractor License #50179**
Even though Carroll County does not currently require local residential electrical inspections, that doesn’t mean electrical work should be done without accountability.
Hiring an unlicensed electrical contractor can lead to fire hazards from improper wiring, shock risks to your family, code violations that can hurt resale value, insurance claim denials if damage occurs and expensive repairs to correct unsafe workmanship
Electrical work isn’t where you want to cut corners to save a few bucks.
At **Sheets Electrical**, we’re fully licensed, bonded, and insured because your safety and doing the job right come first.
Before hiring anyone, ask questions. A legitimate contractor won’t hesitate to provide proof.
