This past weekend at the Aultman Angel Auction was one for the books.

We had a great time being part of such an incredible event and supporting a great cause alongside our brothers at IBEW Local 540.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, well over $500,000 was raised — and we’re proud to share that the 22kW Generac whole-home generator we donated with IBEW 540 was auctioned off for $15,000!

A huge thank you to everyone who bid, donated, and helped make the night such a success. We’re grateful to play a small part in helping support the continued transformation of the Aultman Hospital campus and the important work being done in our community.

We’re really excited to be part of something special this year.

Sheets Electrical had the opportunity to team up with The Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital and IBEW 540 to donate a 22kW Generac whole-home generator for this year’s Aultman Angel Auction.

This is a great event for an even better cause. All proceeds from Angel Auction 2026 will go toward Aultman’s $1.5 million project to upgrade the Aultman Massillon campus, including an improved lab, updated patient areas, and a new therapy center with an aquatic therapy pool.

As a local business, being able to give back to projects that directly benefit our community means a lot to us. We’re proud to be a small part of helping make these improvements happen.

Before hiring an electrician, ask yourself:

Is your contractor actually licensed, bonded, and insured?

Or are they just *saying* they are?

A lot of homeowners don’t realize this, but just because someone “does electrical work” doesn’t mean they’re legally qualified to do it.

Ask for their state license number.
Ask for proof of insurance
Ask if they’re properly bonded.

If they can’t provide it, that should tell you everything you need to know.

Even though Carroll County does not currently require local residential electrical inspections, that doesn’t mean electrical work should be done without accountability.

Hiring an unlicensed electrical contractor can lead to fire hazards from improper wiring, shock risks to your family, code violations that can hurt resale value, insurance claim denials if damage occurs and expensive repairs to correct unsafe workmanship

Electrical work isn’t where you want to cut corners to save a few bucks.
