Thanks for the shout out Ohio Concrete!

🏗️ Contractor Member Spotlight | Thompson Concrete

This month, we’re proud to recognize Thompson Concrete as one of Ohio Concrete’s Contractor Members.

What began in 1989 with residential flatwork and footings has grown into the largest locally owned and operated concrete contractor in Central Ohio. Today, Thompson Concrete provides turnkey service for large, complex projects, with capabilities spanning excavation, foundations, slabs, structures, site paving, and commercial concrete construction.

Their commercial team works on projects ranging from light to heavy commercial construction and also provides pre-construction support for engineering, design, and budgeting. Across the company, Thompson emphasizes safety, quality, integrity, and completing work on schedule—values that have remained central to the business for more than three decades.

Today, Thompson Concrete and the companies under the Thompson umbrella are also employee-owned through an ESOP, giving the people behind the work a shared investment in the company’s continued success.

👏 Thank you to the entire Thompson Concrete team for your continued support of Ohio Concrete and for the work you do to help build stronger communities throughout Ohio and beyond.

🏆 Know someone who deserves a little recognition?

We love getting to celebrate an ESOP MVP each month, but it starts with someone taking a minute to nominate them.

Think about the people who step up, help without being asked, take ownership, and make the team better. If someone comes to mind, tell us why they deserve to be recognized!

Submit your nomination here:

Your nomination could be the reason we get to celebrate them next. 👏

Things are taking shape at the Rogue Fitness expansion.

A few recent looks from inside the project as the TC crew continues moving things forward. There’s still plenty happening, but it’s always good to stop and see how far a job has come.

More to come from this one.

Another Thompson Family of Companies picnic in the books! 🌲👏

We had a great time getting everyone together at Hocking Hills for a day away from the usual routine. Good food, plenty of laughs, and time spent with the people and families who make our companies what they are.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a good one. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Building is what we do, but sometimes the smallest projects can have a pretty big impact. 🏠

Members of the Thompson Concrete and TCF teams recently spent some time helping build a Habitat for Humanity playhouse. Good people, a few tools, and some time well spent giving back to the community we’re proud to be part of.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make it happen!

October is a reminder that so many people are fighting battles we may never see. 💗

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with those currently fighting, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost.

From all of us at Thompson Concrete, you’re in our thoughts this month and always.

“Some people just talk too much!” 😂

Sometimes wisdom isn’t about having more to say. It’s knowing what needs to be said and when to stop talking.

In this week’s Truth Minute, Pastor Dave looks at the way Jesus communicated and what we can learn from His ability to be clear, direct, and get to the point.
