It was on honor to build this landscape for a beautiful woman with terminal cancer. All she wanted was to have her dream garden to come home to before her time here came to an end. The weight of the responsibility was real, I wish I could share the hugs and the stories, mainly the inspiration she blessed my life with. This design was a collaboration with her, she knew she wanted a succulent garden, and knew some of the plants she wanted. It’s was such a joy to see her smile when we finished. Our time here can be shortened with the next breath we take, might sound cliche, but…. Forgive those who have wronged you and spend as much time with the ones you love. This year has been wonderful, even after my own medical scare, I feel blessed to have a beautiful family, and that I get to do work for amazing families in bringing their dream garden to life.
