Big progress at Port Jefferson! 🛶

The remodel is bringing some long-overdue upgrades to one of Carlsbad's favorite spots on the Pecos:

• Conditioned interior space for snacks, drinks, and treats
• A covered outdoor area to get out of the sun
• Brand-new public restrooms
• A dedicated office for the Carlsbad Fire Department's water safety team

The facility is owned by the City of Carlsbad and operated by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. Designed by BSTK Studio, built by Greer Construction.

We're targeting a summer opening -see you on the river. 🌊

CARLSBAD - PUBLIC INPUT NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY SURVEY

The City of Carlsbad is in the process of updating the Carlsbad Comprehensive Plan, and community input is essential. While the first public meeting was held on February 13, 2025, residents still have the opportunity to participate by completing the Community Survey.

The survey allows community members to share their vision for Carlsbad’s future and provide feedback on key topics such as housing, economic development, infrastructure, transportation, and more.

We're thrilled to share a sneak peek of the progress at the future home of Eddy Federal Credit Union here in Carlsbad, NM! 🛠️ With the framing stage well underway, this building is beginning to take shape, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team and our outstanding partners at Trend Builders, LLC . Their attention to detail and commitment to quality are making this vision a reality.

Our drone shots capture the impressive scope of the site, while interior shots reveal the framing of what will soon be a welcoming lobby and a spacious, thoughtfully designed boardroom. This project is all about creating a space that will enhance financial services for our community, and we’re excited to see it all come together.

Once home to one of our town’s most influential families, the Armandine Estate was built in 1906 by Col. Etienne Bujac—a military leader and key figure in Carlsbad’s early development.
