When we first arrived at this project, we quickly realized this family had been put in a very difficult situation. After hiring a previous unlicensed contractor, they were left with an unfinished remodel, depleted funds, and a home that was far from livable. To make matters worse, the household includes elderly family members with medical conditions who were forced to live through the disruption and uncertainty. As we began evaluating the project, we discovered several serious issues. The bathrooms had not been properly waterproofed and will need to be redone to prevent future damage. The kitchen materials had been purchased but were never installed, leaving the family with an unusable space and no clear path forward. Instead of turning the project away, we worked with the homeowners to develop a practical and affordable solution. We redesigned the kitchen to fit their budget, completed the installation, and established a payment plan to help them move forward without creating additional financial hardship.
