A testament to thoughtful design, this West Hartford kitchen project is one we come back to over and over again, and this time we’re sharing all the details about the copper accents in this space!

There’s something timeless about copper that helps ground this space in the memory of its 100 year old home.

The pendant lights for the island were designed and created by a local artist in Collinsville, and hand painted by our client.

The hood was custom made for this kitchen by CopperSmith® with input from our client about exactly what she envisioned for the space.

Our team of expert carpenters replicated the home’s original crown, trim and baseboards to carry through the new space, and we built each door case to accommodate the home’s original doors (found in storage and reclaimed by our client as well) 😍

Installing windows in a heat wave 🥵

This is part of a current kitchen project we’re working on in West Hartford! We removed a door and a bay window, closed up the wall, and installed three new windows instead. This allows us to utilize the entire back wall for the new kitchen layout 😎

Here is a perfect example of working with what you have!

Our clients wanted to optimize their kitchen, updating some appliances and getting rid of an old trash compactor unit. The only concern was whether we would be able to pull off these and blend them seamlessly with the existing cabinetry.

We assured them they came to the right place, and built each new cabinet face with an exact profile match. We spent hours of trial and error to get the wood stain just right too. 😍

The final result is a kitchen that feels refreshed and is much better suited to our clients needs!

We’re so proud of this one… 👀

Our clients in Simsbury were considering buying a home in the area before deciding to renovate the one they had and make it the dream space they were looking for.

We worked with Showcase Kitchens to design their dream kitchen, and also made updates to the rest of the first floor as well. For the living room, we updated the carpet and paint, and built a statement fireplace and installed crown and shadowbox trim for added texture and depth.

Our team knocked this project out of the park, and we know our clients are going to love their “new” home for years to come 😍
