Although 25 years have passed, the memory of September 11, 2001, still hits just as hard.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost and the heroes who are forever memorialized for their strength and fearlessness. Though a quarter-century has passed, we still pause to remember the lives lost and the mourning that ensued after that tragic day. But most of all, we remember the unity that brought our nation together.
