PUBLIC NOTIFICATION - BOIL WATER ADVISORY

Due to the water main break at the south end of town in the vicinity of Hwy 515 and Interstate Drive S, the City is issuing a boil water advisory.

𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙗𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙥𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮.

This is being issued out of an abundance of caution. There is one area that remains within the complete outage, and as soon as repairs are completed, that area will be flushed and repressurized. The City will then start collecting samples from various points throughout the system affected by the main break this morning and have them processed by a certified lab. We anticipate that the advisory will be lifted tomorrow afternoon.
