In almost 50 years Ive served people with my work, none has had a lasting impact on me as two men who actually fought and survived the beaches of Normandy. As I worked on their garage doors, they told me, quite tearfully, what it was like to be there. Both said the movie Saving Private Ryan, was the most accurate portrayal of what it was like. Because of that, I make it a point to set aside 3 hours every June 6th and watch the movie. I encourage you to do the same.

This is why you should not attempt to repair your garage door. As it turned out, the door could not be saved and will have to be replaced.
