Canton Main Street Association recently presented a $1000 facade grant to Deep River Sinkers to help with the cost in repairing the brick facade and upper windows on the building at 104 N. 4th Street in downtown Canton. Jim Crenshaw, owner of Crenshaw’s Fix-All donated the labor and some of the materials for the repairs. More work will be done later this fall to complete the project. Pictured below are Carol Bowen, Jim Crenshaw, Kristy Horner, John Bowen, Mark Bowen, Pelican Bob (Tammy Ellison), Sharon Upchurch, Diane Carmichael, Jennifer Wood, Kayla Houghton and Leslie Moon. This facade grant was made possible through a grant Canton Main Street Association received through The Community Foundation.

We are still in need of lifeguards for this summer. The YMCA in Hannibal has a certification course coming up next week. All info is on their website.
