If you have an “Emergency Heat/EM HEAT” option on your Thermostat, the next few days it would be a good idea to run emergency heat until temps get back above freezing.

Your system will attempt to keep up in these conditions in regular heat mode (via your outdoor condenser) but will continually go into a defrost mode that is not the most effective or efficient way to heat your home in sub 32 degree weather conditions. By going into “Em. Heat” you are bypassing the outdoor all together
and saving yourself some potential headaches.

With it being the hottest week of the year so far, with more heat to come I’m sure. I just want to give a shout out to our guys that keep showing up for more everyday. Those attics are no joke this time of year. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and we are very grateful for all of you 🫶🏼

Just a heads up to all our heat pump customers!!! I would highly recommend going into “emergency heat” setting on your thermostat until them temps rise above freezing. If your unit is struggling to keep up adjust your temperature on the thermostat to a realistic temperature. Your unit gets tired like you do so give it a break or it will break 😅. Check that air filter too because I know it needs it!
