These photos are from a recent local site visit, where Rob Desharnais and Elias Rodriguez provided hands-on troubleshooting support for a wind turbine.

When a long-term project for one of our valued clients required ongoing machining support, the O’Connor team responded by establishing a fully functional onsite machine shop.

With several highly skilled millwright machinists on our team, we can machine and modify parts as needed, helping keep this fast-moving project on schedule.

O’Connor Corporation is proud to congratulate two of our millwrights on their outstanding performance at the recent North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters Millwright Olympics!

Bryan Doyle, a third-year apprentice, took 1st place overall, winning the entire millwright competition, while John Watt, a recent fourth-year apprentice graduate, earned an impressive 3rd-place finish.

These accomplishments reflect the hard work, dedication, and skill that Bryan and John have put into developing their craft. They also demonstrate the value of the combined learning experience provided through the UBC Millwrights Apprenticeship Program, along with the hands-on experience and strong mentorship provided by the experienced millwrights here at O’Connor.

We are extremely proud of Bryan and John for representing O’Connor so well and thank everyone involved in their training, mentoring, and development. Congratulations to both of you on a tremendous accomplishment!
