BLOCH Dancewear’s new Boston store is officially open at 505 Tremont Street.

Rosemont Design was pleased to provide architectural design and documentation for the interior fit-out, helping transform the existing commercial space into a bright and highly organized retail environment.

The completed store balances product display, fitting rooms, checkout, storage, and a dedicated pointe-shoe fitting area within a compact South End storefront. Warm flooring and muted finishes serve as the backdrop, allowing BLOCH’s brand and products to remain the focus.

Retail design succeeds when brand experience and day-to-day operations support one another. It is rewarding to see that coordination now serving Boston’s dance community.

Congratulations to BLOCH and the full project team on the opening.

Framing is advancing at this new 5,200-square-foot residence in Middleton, where the roof forms, dormers, and window openings are beginning to define the exterior composition.

Inside, the double-height family room and second-floor overlook are also taking shape. The vertical volume is designed to bring light deeper into the home and connect its central living spaces across both floors.

An exciting stage for a project we look forward to watching develop.

A spontaneous and kind invitation from Rachel Brewster of Consolidated Brick gave Rosemont Design’s Maria Baudler the opportunity to brush up on her golf skills at a wonderful golf clinic hosted by WWIRE: Wellness for Women in Real Estate.

Held at Granite Links in Quincy, MA, the event offered a beautiful setting with the Boston skyline as a backdrop, along with fantastic coaches who made the clinic enjoyable and accessible for golfers of all skill levels.

A special thank you to Consolidated Brick for sponsoring this great event and to Rachel for including us! We truly appreciate the invitation and the opportunity to connect with such a wonderful group.

It's always exciting to watch the character of a home begin to make itself known.

This in-progress single-family home study explores how a more layered exterior palette can add depth without overcomplicating the architecture. Warm siding, selective board-and-batten accents, darker windows, and a more grounded entry sequence all help refine the overall expression while keeping the composition cohesive and simple.

Some of the most important design decisions happen at this scale, showing restraint through fine calibration of material, contrast, and proportion to help a dwelling feel like a home.

Schematic design is complete for this residential addition and renovation project in Woburn, MA.

The design reworks the rear of the home to create a more open and functional layout, centered around a new great room addition, an updated kitchen, and a new powder room. The goal was to create spaces that feel more connected and better suited to everyday living, while giving the project a clear direction for the next phase.

We are excited to see this one continue moving forward.

How do you make a home bigger without losing the character that made it feel right in the first place?

This residential addition in Wareham, MA was designed to do exactly that.

The project includes a renovated kitchen and living area, a new dining area, primary suite, and 2-car garage, along with a second-floor bedroom, bathroom, and recreation room. The design focused on creating more usable space while keeping the house cohesive in both layout and appearance.

The project has now moved into preliminary pricing, and we are excited to see it continue moving forward.

It’s always rewarding to see projects like this come together.

Upgrading existing housing isn’t just about replacing fixtures. It’s about working within tight constraints, coordinating with existing conditions, and making smart decisions that improve durability and resident experience long-term.

On this project, that meant rethinking compact layouts, aligning with accessibility requirements, and coordinating closely with Rogue Engineering & Design to ensure everything worked in the field, not just on paper.

Appreciate the collaboration on this one. These are the kinds of projects that make a real, day-to-day impact.

Another great project in the books with a local housing authority! 👏🏽🏡

This project focused on upgrading outdated bathing facilities by replacing existing tubs and showers with new walk-in, ADA-compliant shower systems 🚿. The work included full demolition of existing units, installation of new liners and plumbing systems, and careful coordination to ensure long-term durability and reliability.

Beyond accessibility, the design prioritized sustainability, indoor air quality, and long-term performance 🌱—delivering a solution that is not only safer and more inclusive, but also built to last. Thoughtful planning around constructability and maintainability helped ensure a smooth installation process and a high-quality end result.

A big thank you to Rosemont Design for collaborating with us on this project—great teamwork all around! 🤝

A solid step forward in improving resident comfort, safety, and overall quality of life through practical, well-executed engineering. 💡

Designing a home of this scale isn’t just about adding space.

For this new 5,200 SF residence in Middleton, MA, the focus was on creating a home that feels cohesive and comfortable, not oversized. Connected living spaces, a central kitchen, and vertical volume help bring natural light deep into the interior and tie the home together.

The exterior draws from traditional forms, balanced with clean detailing and proportion to create a unified expression.

Construction documents are complete, and we’re looking forward to seeing this one move into construction.
