It's official — emerald ash borer was confirmed in Southern Colorado on August 5.

If you have an ash tree, this matters. Untreated ash trees don't survive EAB. Healthy ones can be protected, but preventive treatment has to happen before the tree is heavily infested — once it's badly damaged, there's usually no bringing it back.

Not sure if that's an ash in your yard? Two dead giveaways: branches grow directly opposite each other, and the bark has a distinct diamond ridge pattern. Swipe through the photos above.

📣 Some exciting news!
We are thrilled to announce that J. Rick Lawn & Tree is acquiring W**d Reapers. We have a ton of respect for what Emily built here and we don't take that lightly. Here's what this means for you: nothing is changing about your service. Same pricing, same chemical mix, and same local service and same contract free billing. For the next couple of days our phone is in the process of getting transferred over and may ring through.

You'll now have access to even more services if you ever want them — things like fertilization programs, tree care, pest control, and more. No pressure at all, just more options available if you ever need them.

In the coming days, every current W**d Reapers customer can expect a personal call from Oliver or Sam to introduce ourselves and answer any questions you might have.

To our amazing customers,

We have some bittersweet news to share. My husband has recently received a wonderful promotion that will be taking our family out of state, and because of that, we will be relocating at the end of August.

First and foremost, I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, trust, referrals, and business over the years. What started as a small business has been able to grow because of incredible customers like you, and I am truly grateful.

Unfortunately, this means we will not be able to complete the remainder of the season as originally planned. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we navigate this exciting new chapter for our family.
