Interesting emergency work today, someone maliciously cut two of our customers fiber cables off at the base of the utility poles on both sides of an aerial river crossing, they cut it last night in the middle of the night

We are going to repair it and place additional steel guards over it in hopes to deter anyone from trying this again, we have notified SFPD in hopes maybe they can find out who did it, we used to see this happen in the old copper days but not with fiber optics
If someone is thinking about doing something like this they could be charged with a felony let's hope the perpetrators are found and punished
