New kitchen table I finished up last year. Black walnut and cherry with a herringbone inlay. The first time I finished it I used a epoxy pour and it came out TERRIBLE. I had to strip all the epoxy and start over. Glad I did. The final finish and the hand planned table gave it that rustic farmhouse look we were looking for. A steel set of legs brought it all together.

Next: the chairs will be redone to match.

I think I’m more excited to give it to him than he is going to be. Only a few more hours.

Last minute decided to add some insulation in the attic over the house. It was a much needed upgrade and came out great.

We Ran out to my sister this weekend to build a deck over an old stone patio. Came out pretty good. Measures 12x20.

We did some landscaping at the house! Added edging 15 ton of rock and about 30 bushes. Still have some to go but they will be next year.

We did some time lapse videos of tilling and releveling the land around the driveway. Unfortunately the first section of video is cut off where the large tree is removed and the railroad ties are pulled up.

Changed countertops this weekend in the bathroom. Teaching him early!
