**Why is my pool cloudy?**

Cloudy water could be caused by any of the following..
• Low sanitizer levels (chlorine / bromine)
• Poor filtration or circulation (old sand?)
• Unbalanced water chemistry
• Fine particles suspended in the water (high phosphates)

A few days later and we are clear!

Time to balance it up and do some finishing touches with the vacuum.

Day 2!

We’re officially in the cloudy blue phase. At this stage, maintaining chlorine levels and keeping the water filtering are the keys to getting it clear.

Today we started with a backwash, then added 2 gallons of chlorine, some clarifier, and chlorine tablets. We also cleaned the baskets, brushed the walls, and cleaned the Dolphin before sending it back to work.

Day 1 of bringing this pool back to life! 💦

We opened it up to heavy debris and algae, so we started with a filter backwash to lower the water level. Then we hit it with 6 gallons of chlorine and a heavy dose of algaecide before brushing the walls to break up the algae and get it circulating through the filter. To finish things off, we dropped in the Dolphin cleaner and let it get to work.
