Exciting new housing opportunities are on their way to Geneva! We are happy to have contributed land surveying, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services for the City of Geneva to assist with making this project possible, and look forward to seeing what Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity has in store for The Cottages on Crystal Street!

Coming soon to Geneva: The Cottages on Crystal Street! Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity is building 9 new single-family homes. Join Habitat staff at the Geneva Public Library for an information session about qualifications and how to apply for these homes, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.

Last week our team partnered with Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association and Finger Lakes PRISM for an invasive species pull at the south end of Canandaigua Lake and West River in Naples. The weather didn't fully cooperate, but we knocked it out and contributed to pulling about 900lbs of frog-bit in just a few hours! Thanks for letting us join in!

We'd like to take a moment to introduce you all to the newest member of our team, Derek Stahl, our new Survey Technician! "I enjoy making the most of my free time with my wife, Jenelle, our dog, Bruin, and our cat, Kitty. I'm happiest when I'm outdoors, whether that's hiking, fishing, gardening, firing up the grill, or just hangin outside. When the weather turns cooler, you can find me cheering on my favorite New England teams, the Patriots and the Bruins."

Please meet our new Engineer I, Adam Usselman! Adam recently graduated from ESF with a B.S. in Environmental Resources Engineering. "In my free time I enjoy fishing and hiking in the Adirondacks at my grandmother's house on Raquette Lake. I am a proud cat dad of Noodle, who is a former street cat from Syracuse. I also spend lots of time with my girlfriend, Taylor and on my hobbies; coin and trading card collecting." Welcome to the team!
