Another heavy rain event on the way for Sunday night into Monday afternoon. Downpours and storms will invade bringing another good summer soaking. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.

Scheduling modifications to mowing will have to be made this week. I appreciate everyone being so flexible during this weather event. The good news is the grass will be nice and lush and green following this rain.

Models continue to paint the picture of heavy rainfall this week, especially Tuesday into Wednesday. There could be some isolated showers and storms Monday afternoon, but the main event start Tuesday afternoon as showers and storms become more numerous. The most consistent heavy rainfall rates comes Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning when we could see south-to-north oriented bands of heavy rainfall. The Weather Prediction Center has placed much of the area in at least a 15% chance of flash flooding both Tuesday and Wednesday, and this percentage could rise. Euro AI model total rainfall through Thursday morning is below. Note widespread 2 to 4 inch totals.

After thinking long and hard about this post, I wanted to make it sentimental because this moment means so much to me.

I am officially the proud owner of a brand new mower to add to my fleet, and I couldn’t be more proud of this accomplishment. None of this would be possible without the support from homeowners in this community who believed in me, supported my business, and continue to cheer me on every step of the way.

But this isn’t just a pink mower. This is a Breast Cancer Awareness mower, and a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of this machine goes directly toward breast cancer research. Breast cancer has affected people I know and care about so this purchase means far more than just growing my business; it represents support for an incredible cause that impacts so many women and families.

We need more women supporting women, lifting each other up, and celebrating one another’s accomplishments. Anyone who truly knows me knows this mower was absolutely made for me, and I’m so grateful to have something so meaningful as part of my fleet.

Thank you to my family, friends, customers, and everyone who continues to support me and believe in what I’m building. This is such a special milestone for me, and I’m beyond grateful. 💗
