Tuesday morning started like every other day until I get a message at 6am that say “Burndy in Littleton has lost a Transformer and needs a replacement ASAP.

A 1000KVA Transformer is not a shelf item that we can just get by 9am. It takes months. But we went searching… called every power company around the northeast with no luck. Finally caught a break with a company from South Carolina who had one in an Ohio Yard.

So 12 pm Today we took delivery of the new transformer and got Burndy back up and running at 3:30pm just in time for night shift.

Now back to our regular scheduled work!
