Celebrating 25 years of Lee at Wenger!

Lee joined Wenger 25 years ago as our second full-time employee and has been part of our story since the very beginning. As a member of our first crew, Lee helped lay the foundation for the company we are today. Last week we celebrated Lee with his coworkers, family and a few of our vendors. Our theme was belt buckles and funny tshirts as Lee always wears.

Over the years, Lee has been a trailblazer — being part of our first roofing, siding, and architectural sheet metal crews, while also serving as our first foreman and project manager. His hard work, knowledge, and willingness to take on any challenge has helped shape Wenger in many ways.

Beyond his work, Lee is someone who is always willing to lend a hand, support his coworkers, and give back to his community. Whether he’s volunteering his time or helping someone in need, Lee continues to make a positive impact wherever he goes.

We are incredibly grateful for Lee’s 25 years of loyalty, dedication, and leadership. Thank you, Lee, for helping build Wenger into what it is today.

Wait... Velcro on a roof? - Not your typical roofing system!

A solution for installing roofs in winter.

Our President, Jake Wenger, had the opportunity to have lunch onsite with our southern roofing crew. This crew was working hard installing a new innovative roofing system Wenger has not installed before. A new velcro-style roof, featuring a Carlisle FleeceBACK Rapidlock EPDM membrane that creates a fully-adhered roofing system without the use of traditional adhesives.

195 buckets.

That’s how many buckets this building once needed to catch roof leaks throughout the years! Those buckets are now gone—and this new roof is officially installed.

Our crews have officially completed the main roof installation, with only some detail work and sheet metal left to wrap up.

Huge thank you to our customer, Evans Stores, for trusting us with this transformation—we’re proud to be part of bringing a long-term solution to their building!

For years, buckets sat throughout the store catching roof leaks. Tomorrow around noon, owner Angela will officially hold a “bucket dump” to celebrate the progress and the end of an era.

By the end of this week, our crews will officially complete installation of the insulation and roofing membrane on this project—marking a major milestone in transforming this facility with a brand new EPDM roofing system.

The final phase includes detail work, cleanup, and full walkthroughs to ensure everything meets our Wenger standards.
