Pixel design and build is about redesigning and refacing your environment to look its best, residential or commercial.

SAM TAJIK, began in the home construction business in the early 1990s and became proficient in that trade, including a promotion to project manager and the right-hand man of the president of a general contracting company. When the company relocated to southern California, Sam was implored to move there and spearhead the company efforts in the south. However, by that time Sam had gained significant

exposure to the design and art world, there was no turning back. The color and design aspects of the interior and exterior of homes fascinated him as he saw great potential for growth in that field. On realizing this, Sam opted to enroll in university to learn graphic & industrial design and as an added bonus took some courses in associate science of architecture. While still in the pursuit of more education and experience he began working in the Graphic industry as a designer. He was a quick learner and in no time at all he had mastered all aspects of the Design color and art. In the spare time that he had, he was falling back on his knowledge of construction and designing and remodeling small cottages and houses in the bay area (flip houses). By the year 2005 he had designed and remodeled numerous flip homes and was master at construction management and all aspects pertaining to working with the city through plans and permits. In 2008 the market housing crash made him fall back on his design skills and recently he got back into what he loves the most, his style in graphic and industrial design and architecture. It is this that makes PIXEL DESIGN AND BUILD unique and different from the others in the market.

We have completely transformed, overhauled, and moved the kitchen to a new location with a new island, all new cabinetry to be installed. We have also transformed the old bathroom with new bathtub, tiles, and cabinets. Stay tuned for new pics to come.

We are at the tail end of our project in Emerald Hills. Some exterior pictures from before and after. We will be finishing off the front yard with some landscaping and a large deck in the backyard. We will have more pictures coming soon.

We are laying out some very large boulders to create a Japane's Rock Garden, Come back and see the transformation.

Despite the weather, we were invited back to one of our old clients to redesign their front yard & and we were told to try to repurpose what we can, something that is low maintenance, looks natural, different, and outshines the neighbors. Well, a tall order, but expect the unexpected. Check back to see the progress on this yard as we bring in 10 tons of boulders and more......

We have started our new project, with our permit ready. We will be relocating the kitchen and creating a beautiful new kitchen with a massive Island to gather around and complete renovation of the hallway bathroom. Check back soon on our progress with pictures to come.

We have made lots of progress on our W. San Jose project, with the wall up and the roof almost completed. We will be working through the winter to complete this home soon.

Our Emerald Hills project is coming together with exterior and interior finishes.

Our W. San Jose project is moving along foundation is in place. We are moving to other parts of the construction. Check back on this album to see updates.

Our Saratoga project 2nd Phase has finished, the covered porch highlights are recessed surround sound, heaters, and Special color changing lighting system including a large TV for all the game night gatherings.
