Strong partnerships aren't just nice to have, they're essential for success.

City of Santa Monica Big Blue Bus learned this during their journey to electrify their fleet. Working closely with ChargePoint and Eaton for charging infrastructure, they've grown from piloting Gillig's very first battery electric bus to operating 34 electric buses daily.

The results? Comparable uptime to CNG buses, 20% faster maintenance, and lower fueling costs.

Together, ChargePoint and Eaton developed Express Solo to simplify electrification for commercial and fleet sites and charging corridors: bringing the next generation of DC fast charging the charging ecosystem.

The idea is straightforward: connect the grid, the power infrastructure, the charging infrastructure and the vehicles through one integrated system instead of stitching together separate solutions.

Express Solo delivers up to 600 kW in a compact, modular design built to scale as a site's charging demands grow. It combines ChargePoint's charging technology and software with Eaton's power management and electrical infrastructure expertise, so deployment is one coordinated effort rather than two parallel ones.

The ribbon cutting at ChargePoint HQ marked the first in a broader portfolio of joint solutions designed to make electrification easier to deploy, operate and scale.
