Floor framing at this scale requires more than setting joists at a spacing. The bearing points have to be right, the layout has to account for mechanical and plumbing penetrations that come later, and the steel interface has to be coordinated before the first joist drops. A floor system that is off at this stage does not just affect framing. It affects every trade working above and below it for the rest of the project.

It shows up in mechanical conflicts, delayed inspections, compressed drywall schedules, and RFIs that should have been resolved before the walls went up. Pull up the drone shot and you immediately understand the constraints. Tight site, residential neighbors on all sides, and a multi-unit framing scope that has to stay organized from the first floor deck to the last wall panel. GCs managing a project like this need a framing contractor that already understands how site limitations affect sequencing, logistics, and trade stacking. That is the conversation we are having before production starts.

A foreman who can read a set of drawings and translate them accurately into the field is worth more to a GC than most people realize. Wrong layout means wrong framing. Wrong framing means problems for mechanical, electrical, drywall, and finish before any of them ever show up. This is the part of framing that does not make it into the photo albums but makes everything else possible.

Hybrid steel and wood structure, multiple levels, elevated site with limited staging. When you are framing around structural steel, the tolerances are tighter, the layout has to be precise, and any misread on the framing dimensions creates problems for mechanical, electrical, and finish trades before they ever show up. We do the AutoCAD layout work and conflict identification upfront so those issues get resolved in preconstruction, not during production when they cost real money.
