Remember that failing beam we uncovered at our Camp Hill project? It’s time to fix it. 🔨

The first-floor joists of this Camp Hill, PA home had settled nearly two inches due to an improperly constructed main support beam in the basement.

Before we move forward with the kitchen transformation upstairs, we’re replacing that failing beam with a stronger, continuous LVL beam designed to properly support the home for years to come.

It’s the kind of work you may never see once the renovation is finished, but it’s some of the most important work we’ll do.

A beautiful remodel starts with getting the bones of the home right.

Demo has a way of revealing a home’s secrets. 👀

It’s Day 2 of our Camp Hill, PA kitchen remodel, and with the kitchen and formal dining room opened up, we’ve uncovered a few things that need our attention before we can start putting it all back together.

Old mechanicals need to be relocated. A defective structural beam needs to be addressed. And while all that work is happening, we’re taking steps to contain the dust and protect the finished areas of the home.

This is the part of remodeling you don’t always see, but it’s also the work that matters most.

Follow along as we bring this Camp Hill home back together, the right way. 🔨

There’s more to this kitchen remodel than meets the eye. 👀

We’re kicking off a new project in Camp Hill, PA, addressing hidden structural and flooring issues before transforming the first floor into a more open, functional space.

The plan? Open the kitchen into the underused dining room, prep for new hardwood throughout, enlarge the kitchen window to take advantage of the beautiful creek views, and make sure the structure beneath it all is built to last.

Sometimes the best renovations start with fixing what you can’t see. Stay tuned as this one takes shape.
