Restocking cork coasters at my booth at The Picket Fence and the front office here Rippling Waters Resort today. So…I started working on my ornaments for the upcoming Christmas season. I told myself I am going to sit down and reflect on the past 11 Christmas’ for Flare Grove. Reflect, make some noticings, plan and I’ll make sure to share what I figure out. Each layer (3 in total) is cut with my Glowforge⚡️3D Laser Cutter & Engraver laser. Then I clean each piece and paint by hand. Next up glue and seal. A true labor of love. So detailed and so many pieces! This order alone had 450 pieces in all! Thanks for keeping me busy!

A marriage proposal happened Rippling Waters Resort last week! Of course I had to make a keepsake ornament for the happy couple. Duh.
Fun fact: the soon to be bride’s parents were engaged at Rippling Waters 32 years ago! Family and friends surrounded them down on the docks and the bride was completely surprised. The soon to be groom did a great job! Cheers!
