In any industry, details matter. We take special care of every part of your roof, including your pipe boots. Traditional rubber pipe boots tend to rot or break after sitting on your roof for 8-10 years. At that point you’d have to hire someone to come out and repair the damage caused by the leaky boot.

With every roof we install, we include a silicone boot with a metal base that will not dry rot. If you’re paying for a shingle that’s supposed to last 30 years, why are you paying for someone to install a pipe boot that only lasts 10?

Properly flashing and sealing your chimney is another step taken to ensure your roof is done correctly.

Chimneys are constructed from porous materials such as brick and mortar, which naturally absorb moisture over time. Without proper waterproofing and maintenance, rainwater can pe*****te these materials and make its way into the chimney structure and your home. Water intrusion can lead to deteriorated mortar joints, damaged flashing, interior leaks, mold growth, and costly structural repairs.

We received a call from a homeowner regarding a recently installed roof. The property was being sold and the inspector correctly noted an 'improper ridge vent installation.' The previous roofer failed to cut the plywood decking back adequately to ensure proper ventilation. We rectified the issue by removing the ridge vent, cutting the plywood to specifications, and then replacing the ridge vent. We really hate to see a homeowner have to pay twice for a job to be done correctly. Remember “a cheap roof ain’t good, and a good roof ain’t cheap”

Your roof being one of the most significant components of your home, choosing the cheaper option can prove costly over time. Roofs with a pitch of less than 4/12 require the installation of an ice and water shield membrane, as 15 lb felt paper falls short of requirements.
