We don't golf very often. Mainly because we aren't very good at it! When we do, it is in support of our current and past clients and causes that they (and we) believe in. This summer, we have felt privileged to be a part of a number of events that have raised over $100,000 in support of financial literacy, local scholarships, charities, camper financial aid and funds used directly in student athlete preparation for lives of service and leadership.

We have another mid-June work anniversary to celebrate and this is a big one. Jeremy Mellgren has been an integral part of our company for 20 years!!! He is our longest standing employee and has now been with BJ Baas Builders, Inc. for over half of his lifetime. That means a lot in today's world. Fun fact, we screwed up the date of Jeremy's 15 year anniversary several years ago because he has been around longer than our payroll, employee number, and tracking systems have been... Not only has Jeremy been with us forever, he is and has always been a top notch employee who has been the mastermind behind a majority of our most complicated and unique projects and has been a major part of many of our firsts in regard to new project types and new sectors. Entering into new territory has never phased him, he simply continues to evolve with us and continues to make sure our Core Values are upheld while doing so. Thank you Jeremy, we appreciate you!!!

Kyle Thomas has been a huge asset for us over at BJ Baas Builders, and this week we are celebrating his 5 year employment anniversary! Kyle came to us with a ton of industry knowledge and a very aggressive approach to getting things done. He doesn't shy away from anything and, as such, has taken the lead onsite in completing our biggest multi-family projects and shows no signs of slowing down. We truly appreciate Kyle's willingness to be on our team and his ability to successfully complete our largest projects early and under budget, we know our clients appreciate him as much as we do. We had the pleasure of hosting a great crew from our client, Olympus Ventures, onsite at The Brook this week. We are making good strides towards turning this project over to them on time and under budget. The units are coming together inside, the commons areas are looking great, the exterior is just about done and we have started the pool construction. Wanted to say thanks for stopping by and we look forward to partnering on more projects moving forward!
