When you hear "Safety First" what do you think of?

To us, the phrase is not a cliche or a begrudging checklist. This photo to you may seem like just a lot of ropes, but to us we see a climber tied into a heathy tree instead of the dead one he's on. We see a flip line for added safety. We see a rigging line to slowly lower the top that is going to be cut out, and we see a lead line to pull that top away from a fence as it's being lowered down.

To us, it means we look out for our team and we look out for your property. It's not something to scoff at, it's something to practice daily.

What happens to 'Evergreens' during the fall?

Growth slows: Cooler temperatures and shorter days tell evergreens to slow down.
Older foliage drops: Some older needles and leaves naturally turn yellow or brown and fall.
Nutrients are recycled: Trees recover nutrients from older foliage before shedding it.
Water use decreases: Evergreens generally need less water as temperatures cool.
Winter preparation begins: Trees make natural adjustments to handle cold temperatures.
Some change color: Certain conifers, like western larch, turn yellow and lose all their needles.
Browning isn't always normal: Widespread or unusual browning can indicate drought, pests, disease, or other stress.

While enjoying your trees, take a moment to wonder at it's health. Trees are marvelous defenders against pests and diseases, but they're not perfect. You can see in the photo an example of a tree virus on a branch of Incense Cedar, this caused the typical dark green leaves to turn orange and reddish.
