18/20!!! 🐣
hatching eggs are available upon request ✅

11 chicks so far!! This hatch has been very successful with a 50% hatch rate. That’s what you aim for! I was having some trouble with previous hatches so I moved the incubator out to the shed. It’s been more regulated since doing that.

Sifted through our compost today and found hundreds (and I mean hundreds) of worms!!! I was so excited!!!! 🪱🐛

Update on the eggs: went into lockdown this evening. Let’s see what hatches out! These eggs are from our own birds to check for fertility and add to our flock. I usually see them hatch out on the 17th or 18th day. So by the end of next week, we will have chicks. I will keep you all updated.
