This most recent snowstorm truly put both our team and our equipment to the test. Pushing snow continuously for nearly 72 hours straight is extremely demanding on machines and personnel —no matter how well they’re maintained. Between brand-new units and seasoned equipment alike, we experienced breakdowns and unexpected issues that come with operating in prolonged, severe conditions.
While we understand the frustration that delays can cause, we want you to know how incredibly proud we are of our crew. Despite chaotic weather, long hours, and ongoing mechanical challenges, they showed up, adapted, and kept pushing forward. When equipment went down, solutions went up. Our team stayed focused on what matters most—getting our customers taken care of.
Several of our crews even caught rest in their trucks, grabbing just a couple of hours of sleep at a time so they could stay close and keep moving when conditions allowed. That level of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
We’d also like to sincerely apologize to anyone we were unable to get back to during the storm. Call volume increases dramatically during events like this, and unfortunately, unless services are contracted prior to the storm, we are unable to take on new work until the storm has passed and our existing customers are fully serviced. We appreciate your understanding as we work to prioritize safety and reliability.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that we’ll be adding two additional trucks to our fleet. This investment will help us better accommodate customer demand and continue improving response times during major weather events.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during a storm of this magnitude. Events like this remind us why we do what we do, and how much grit, teamwork, and dedication it takes to deliver reliable service when conditions are at their worst.
Thank you for trusting Meadows Outdoor Living. We’re proud of the work accomplished and even prouder of the people behind it.
