Something I’ve never understood as a roofer..how can you have plastic flashings on your home?!! This client had water dripping through their dryer vent cover on the ceiling. Right above the dryer! Go out and check right now to see if you have plastic or metal hvac flashings. Theres a high chance they are leaking and you haven’t noticed it yet. Most of the time it’s not noticeable just waiting to ruin your day! The heat/cold differential causes them to crack when a roofer misses the pre drilled holes. Even if you do hit them it’s still plastic and weak! Save $3 on hvac install to potentially cost thousands later! Call your best roofer and have them come replace them with metal! We are happy to do these and give you peace of mind!

A comparison between their patch and JTC's patch reveals significant differences. It's concerning what passes for quality work among some roofers. Simply slapping underlayment on without proper tucking under doesn't fix the leak. I identified the leak source and took corrective action to prevent additional damage. The homeowner gained peace of mind while awaiting the insurance company's decision.
