We transformed this dining room into a cozy, functional office with so many custom details. From the live-edge slab to the crown molding and those doors 😍😍 Every little detail came together to completely transform this space!

It’s been a minute, and with so many new faces here, we wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves!

We’re Nick and Faith Ernst, the husband-and-wife team behind NRE Customs. We’re a fully insured, family-owned, and locally owned custom carpentry and remodeling business proudly serving Brunswick County and our neighboring counties.

What started as Nick helping friends and neighbors with projects has grown into a business we’re incredibly grateful for today. He’s always had a passion for building things with his hands and creating custom pieces that are made to last. We specialize in custom carpentry and remodeling, designing and building projects specifically for each home because no two homes (or families) are the same. One thing that sets us apart is that we build our cabinetry from scratch instead of using ready-to-assemble cabinets, unless a client specifically requests them. We believe in standing behind everything we build.

While Nick is in the shop and on the job site bringing your vision to life, Faith is usually the one you’ll chat with here. She handles client communication, scheduling, design work, estimates, and social media, making sure every project runs as smoothly as possible from the first message to the final walkthrough.

Outside of work, we’re rooted in our faith and thankful to call Brunswick County home. We love serving in our church’s youth and kids ministries, spending time with our family and friends, and making the most of this season of life together. We believe family is everything, which is why we treat every client like an extension of our own and every home with the same care and respect we’d give ours. Our goal has always been to provide honest service, quality craftsmanship, and an experience that leaves our clients excited about their homes.

Whether you’ve been following us from the beginning or you’re new here, thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your support of our small business means more than you’ll ever know, and we look forward to helping even more families bring their dream projects to life.
