What started as some existing 2x6’s and some metal 2x3’s turned into something incredible. We started off just wrapping the 2x6 with 1x8 western red cedar 3 inches wide but Mrs. Debbie decided she wanted them bigger so we went 10” tall and 6 1/2” wide and she is so glad we did. They look absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to see what other projects we can come up with to finish up her “Lil Barn”. Much more to come from handrails and stair treads to who knows what else. Had a great time this week installing some kitchen cabinets, a vanity, some flooring, casing and trimming out some cased openings and windows, and running some baseboard. I forgot to get pictures before installing the cabinets in the kitchen but you get the idea. Makes a huge difference and makes the project look like you are much closer to completion. Still have some more trim work to do so check back in a couple days for some updates.
