Green Mountain Draft Horse Association fall meeting was a blast! Beautiful venue. Gathering. And fire pit hang with Macey and Brian, Aaron and Rick. Good times.

Last weekend we were at the Draft Animal-Power Network field days. We were at the Shelburne Farms in the breeding barn.

Ted was medicated for a dental demonstration and wasn’t ready for unsupervised time. So I sat with him while I ate my lunch.

Earthbound Forest services also includes Hazard tree take downs and view clearing. Free estimates. First time using the forwarder on a chip job. I’ll never hand feed a chipper again if I can help it.

Just out there doing our thing. Looks like some hay weather ahead. Get back to it after the holiday folks.

The Last time I saw Wendell was 9 year ago. He was a great man. Curious. Engaging and supportive of those people who are interested to work the land. He believed in solidarity with us all. The world is a changed place without him here. I tip my hat today and grieve this lost. I will honor him the same way we all should, getting out there and doing quality work on the land, for the land.
