🌈 TEAM APPRECIATION — RAINBOW RESTORATION OF WEST MICHIGAN 🌈
After an extremely long week, an even longer weekend, and several emergency service calls on Saturday, we decided it was time to make sure our team had a chance to grab some food, laugh together, and enjoy some much-needed time as a team.
Of course, restoration never really stops. Our Contents Team joined us after finishing their work for the day, while our Mitigation Crews stopped in between jobs before heading back out to continue taking care of our customers.
We want to give a huge THANK YOU to our Mitigation Team and Contents Team for the hard work, dedication, and pride they continue to bring to Rainbow Restoration of West Michigan.
Our industry asks a lot from the people who choose to make it their career. There are early mornings, late nights, weekends, emergency calls, long days, and times when plans change in an instant because someone in our community needs help.
We strive every day to provide the best possible service. We strive to be better, we strive to get things right, and we strive for perfection — but at the end of the day, we're human too. We get tired. We have hard days. Sometimes we need a chance to sit down, eat together, laugh, recharge, and remember that we're more than just the jobs on the schedule. We're a team.

As data shifts around, timing for each individual shower and storm is nearly impossible to predict, but as a substitute, we offer this graphic. Shown here is the most likely time period each part of Michigan will receive the majority of their rain, if any. Many locations are already seeing rain here on Friday, even in the pink and red zones, but intensity won't uptick until later in the weekend for these two areas. There's some dry air undercutting this system in the southern region of the low pressure, so many locations will experience hit-or-miss shower activity through Sunday. We do start to clear out on Sunday, but primarily for the blue and pink zones.

If you have plans this weekend, it will be cooler, but the rain will be a factor throughout. Severe thunderstorm chances are very low as well. Posted at 8:01 pm EDT 7/31/26.
