Hoffman’s seeks reliable and motivated Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join our company. BOTH FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We currently have opportunities for Class A CDL Drivers to join our team. The preferred candidate(s) will operate dump trucks, tractors, end dumps, belly dumps, and/or side dumps. Candidates will be required to properly secure and transport material and equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties as listed below, which include, but are not limited to,.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Effectively conduct and document Vehicle Inspections
• Maintain appropriate paperwork and log books
• Observe and report mechanical and safety failures
• Properly secure cargo and materials
• Complies with federal and state traffic laws
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
• At times, participate in labor assignments
• Works well under the direction of Project Supervisors
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is required
• Provide a current medical certification
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience preferred
• Experience in Construction is preferred
