We had a very productive Sunday At the Vail Homestead! I milled some 2x10 black oak trailer decking with James and Alyssa is almost done building our wooden house number sign out of beautiful red oak that I milled last fall.

Today has been an eventful day! We got our new to us LT70 Woodmizer sawmill brought home. Thanks to the help of Joe & James we were able to get it loaded safely. And without mikes commentary it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun! What a great day and we couldn’t be more excited to get this mill setup and cutting. More to come soon!
