Some pieces don't come off a spec sheet.
This custom range hood started as a curved sweep in CAD and ended as a book-matched showpiece — the flowing grain carried through a compound curve, wrapped with grape-and-vine appliqués and a center rosette. Cut, shaped, and finished in our Butler shop. The kind of work that turns a kitchen into the reason people walk into a room and stop.

Just wrapped one of the biggest jobs to come off our floor: an entire home, room by room.
Kitchen. Butler's prep. Great room built-ins with arched glass and white oak floating shelves. Home office. Mudroom. Laundry. Master bath with fluted vanities. A full walk-in closet system. Spa lounge. Bar and rec room. Every cabinet cut on our CNC, every box built in-house, every drawer dovetailed and running on Blum inset hardware.
This is what a systemized shop makes possible — one team, one standard, carried through a dozen different rooms without a single sub touching the work. Paint-grade shakers to fluted white oak to V-groove slab, all built to the same spec the file called for.

Tonight I was watching my 4‑year‑old sanding a little gift for his mom. He was taking it so seriously, and it made me stop for a second and look around the shop.

This place has kind of turned into a second home for all of us.
My kids wander through like they own the place.
Our team shows up every day ready to tackle whatever’s in front of us.
Their families deal with the long days and the weird hours.
And some days we’ve got dogs hanging out like they’re part of payroll.

It’s messy, loud, and full of life — and honestly, that’s the part I love the most.

People usually only see the finished cabinets, but this is the real stuff behind it all. The people, the families, the little moments in between.

Just felt like sharing that tonight.
