With all the wind we have had lately we are so relieved you did such a wonderful job. Securing all the loose bricks we were not even aware of.

We have put a lot of love and labor restoring our 147 year old home.

You and your helper took such care to maintain that and did a beautiful job.

Your kindness,courtesy, and care in leaving everything cleaned up are values hard to find these days.

We highly recommend your work to anyone. It was also a pleasure to meet you and we hope you are keeping busy.

⚠️⚠️⚠️CHIMNEY ALERT⚠️⚠️⚠️

⚫ Did you know you should have your chimney inspected once a year?

⚫ Are there cracks in your brick or mortar joints on your chimney? Are there pieces of brick falling? If so...you have a water/moisture problem and it will only get worse.

⚫ If the inside of your chimney is damaged, creosote will build up in areas it should not. This may cause chimney fires inside your chimney, which has potential to spread inside or outside of your house

⚫ Is the top crown cracked? Is there caulk on the crown in an attempt to fix the crack (this doesn't work!)
Water will enter through the cracks and cause severe damage over time. Especially with the freezing and thawing of Western PA's weather.

⚫ Do you see moss growing on your chimney?

This chimney is a good example why you should have your chimney routinely inspected and maintained. This is what could happen when you see a few cracked brick and mortar joints and you let it go.
