LDG’s design for the 37,214-square-foot Midwest City Middle School addition gives sixth graders a space of their own while supporting the district’s growing enrollment. Flexible classrooms and dedicated art and music spaces encourage learning and creativity, while a gymnasium that doubles as a storm shelter brings recreation and safety together - all designed to help students take their next step with confidence.

Project Highlight: Adelaide Lee-Shidler Elementary School

Adelaide Lee-Shidler Elementary School provides Oklahoma City Public Schools with approximately 96,000 square feet of bright, flexible learning environments. A central “Main Street” connects classroom neighborhoods with collaborative spaces, while the two-story media center, STEAM studio, and art studio create a hub for creativity and exploration.
