Before winter hits, our Genz-Ryan tech walks you through the best ways to protect your outdoor unit:

Tip #1: Use a top-only A/C cover — it's the best way to protect your investment without trapping moisture underneath. And it keeps any falling debris (like ice from roofs or trees) from damaging your unit.

Tip #2: Pull the disconnect or flip the breaker off for the season. Disconnecting power keeps live wires from generating warmth that attracts animals or bugs into the unit.

Tip #3: Keep your furnace exhaust clear of debris — not just now, but all winter long — to keep it running safely.

One minute you’re just minding your own business… and the next thing you know, you’ve somehow wandered into the electrician career path.

Jokes aside, we’re pretty glad our electricians wandered in.

They’re skilled professionals who take pride in their work, know their stuff, and show up every day ready to solve problems and keep our customers’ homes safe. Electrical work takes knowledge, precision, and experience—and our team brings all three.

So maybe the career path was a little… unexpected.

🔎 Low on refrigerant. Freezing up instantly.

Our tech knew there had to be a leak somewhere. The problem? This refrigerant leak was tiny. Like… pinhole tiny.
