The key is making sure the roofline lighting and the landscape lighting complement each other rather than compete for attention.

There are also a lot of seasonal installers in this market looking to make a quick buck. Be careful who you trust with a permanent system on your home. Technology is great, but it has its disadvantages too, and when something goes wrong you want a contractor who will actually answer the phone on July 3rd when your lights will not turn on.

Choose someone with real experience, a proven track record, and a customer service backbone that will still be there long after the installation is complete.

A well designed outdoor lighting system should guide you through the landscape while still allowing the architecture, trees, plant material, and outdoor living areas to remain the focus.

Every system is custom designed around the property and built using some of the highest quality professional LED luminaires, lamps, and optics available today.

We take the time to understand the property, how the space is used, and what we want the finished scene to feel like before we ever start installing lights.

The goal is never to simply make a property brighter. It is to create depth, highlight the right features, improve how the space functions after dark, and make the backyard somewhere you actually want to spend your evenings.

Had a great time joining Taste of Nashville to talk about outdoor lighting and how thoughtful design can completely transform a home after dark.

Always appreciate the opportunity to share a little of what we do at LIGHT TN and why good lighting is about so much more than simply adding fixtures.

Thanks to the Taste of Nashville team for having me!

Great outdoor lighting is about more than adding fixtures. It is about creating an atmosphere and making your backyard a place you want to be in when it's dark.

We design each property around how the space is used, what deserves to be highlighted, and how every layer of light works together.

SEC Saturdays deserve more than a TV on the patio. Create an outdoor entertaining space designed to look, feel, and sound incredible long after kickoff.

AI can create an impressive concept, but a beautiful image does not guarantee a beautiful result.

Professional lighting designers use real photometric data, accurate fixture specifications, and deliberate aiming to develop renderings that can actually be built. Pair that with an experienced installer, and the finished project will reflect what was presented.
