Don’t Let Summer Bounce By

There’s still plenty of summer left to get outside and play. The South Whidbey Sports Complex pickleball courts we finished earlier this year are giving friends and neighbors of all ages a place to stay active, connect, and enjoy time together in the sunshine.

The final weeks of summer are the perfect time to get out onto the court!

Ready to Rise at Eagle Harbor

The slab at Eagle Harbor is complete after two successful pours, marking an exciting milestone for the project. Reaching this point took a true team effort, and we are grateful for the hard work of our civil and concrete teams alongside our trade partners Brundage Bone Concrete Pumping, Miles Sand & Gravel, Precision Concrete, and Pacific Steel Group.

With the foundation in place, our focus now turns upward as the project goes vertical. The completed facility will include a modern, energy-efficient welding shop and renovated machine and storage areas, creating better spaces to support more than 100 shipyard trade workers.

There is still more to build, but this is a moment worth celebrating. Great work from everyone who helped us get here!

Flowing Into the Future

Our TRICO civil crew self-performs utility upgrades throughout the region and recently installed a new 8-inch water main along Washington Street and Mildred Alley, replaced seven residential services, and added two fire hydrants.

The upgraded system provides residents with better water pressure and more dependable service while improving fire protection for the broader community. Small in footprint but significant in impact, this project helps keep the Town of Concrete connected, protected, and prepared.

Every Great Show Needs a Strong Foundation

As the Lincoln Theatre, Mount Vernon WA celebrates 100 years, we're proud to be part of work that strengthens the building for the next generation while preserving the historic character that has made it a community treasure for a century. From new HVAC infrastructure to detailed craftsmanship throughout the facility, these improvements help ensure the theatre remains comfortable, accessible, and ready to support performances, educational programs, community events, and the stories still to come.

The project recently reached a major construction milestone with the installation of new structural columns, carefully lowered through the roof to support improvements taking shape above the theatre.

Pictured are Jamie Ryder, Brian Somers, Corey Toepfer and Audrey Wilhonen. Also, an integral part of the project is Ray Potter who is on site coordinating the day-to-day work.
