The cold weather is officially here and if you haven’t stocked up on firewood yet, you’re in luck! We still have split seasoned hardwood in stock. We will be out and about tomorrow making deliveries. We have some appointments booked, but can take on some more. For the Burleson area 1/2 cord of firewood, delivered and stacked $255. Or if you would like to set up an appointment time to come pick some up yourself we are offering a heaping wheelbarrow for $45

Looks like “winter” could potentially arrive week after next! Next Tuesday shows a low of 16 😳 Now is the time to prepare and stock up on everything. Especially firewood!! We have plenty of great quality wood that is ready to burn. $255 half cord delivered and stacked in the Burleson area! Or you can pick up a heaping wheelbarrow full for $45 (by appointment only).

It is about to get REALLY COLD around here in about a week or so.

For the third winter in a row, it appears we’ll be dealing with a huge blob of arctic cold air.

Cold is cold, but folks, this looks pretty nasty.

Some extremes will be on the table, but I just don’t have those specifics right now.

Sometimes models don’t understand how to handle these extreme temperature drops.

Thanks to February 2021, I do have some forecasting experience with this.

This pattern screams that type of arctic air outbreak for our region.

This could mean multiple days well below freezing, winter weather events, risk to life and property, etc.

I wanted to wait until I observed very consistent data before “sounding the alarm”.

As of today (Saturday) I am seeing that.

Enjoy the weather this week, because the following stretch will be much, much colder.
