Wednesday Word

Today's electrical term is Panel!

Think of your electrical panel as the heart of your home's electrical system. Power comes in from the utility and the panel distributes it throughout your home using individual circuits and breakers.

Those breakers also play an important role in protecting your home by shutting off a circuit when something isn't right.

Whether you're adding new circuits, renovating, or your current panel just can't keep up anymore, sometimes an upgrade is needed to safely handle your home's electrical needs.

Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due.

Wednesday Word

Today's electrical term is Overload!

An overload happens when a circuit is trying to handle more electrical current than it was designed for. This can cause overheating and lead to breakers tripping or fuses blowing.

One common cause? Having too many appliances or high powered devices running on the same circuit at once.

If a breaker keeps tripping, don't just keep resetting it. It may be trying to tell you something!

Monday Toolbox Talks

Are you constantly replacing the same light bulb? It might not actually be the bulb that's the problem.

Bulbs that burn out faster than they should can sometimes point to an underlying electrical issue, such as a loose connection, damaged socket, or voltage problem.

If you're going through bulbs way too often, it may be time to have an electrician take a look.
