When your neighbors bless you with an aggressive rooster. I know it’s not everyone’s “cup of tea”, but I am thankful to know where our meat comes from, especially with all the “food” craziness going on. Tomorrow’s lunch will be chicken ‘n rice. I’ll have a very happy man. 🤣

We’ve been MIA for a while. Life. Seasons. Some seasons are great and some will knock the breath out of you. Some will be noisy and some will be quiet. Ours has been the quiet, somewhat disconnected season for a bit. We didn’t have a super productive garden. We usually always have a nice green bean harvest. This spring/summer was no different, but we didn’t harvest a lot of other veggies until last weekend. We dug over a bushel of sweet potatoes and still have more to dig up. Today, I pulled mayhaw berries from the freezer and made up some delicious jelly. I’ve been contemplating if I wanted to bake pumpkin bread again to put in the farm stand. I plan to bake the first weekend in September. I will keep everyone updated as we go. Until then, stay cool, my friends!

Reminder to self, always bring a basket/bucket to the garden even when you are just going to “look” at the garden. 🤣

Happy Friday!!! It’s a beautiful day!!! We added a couple things to the farm stand today. I have a few jellies available, eggs, of course, a couple blackberry vines and a couple elderberry bushes. Also, I added a jar of fresh cut flowers…a beautiful arrangement of mini sunflowers, zinnias, and cosmos. It will make a great centerpiece for your weekend get togethers or for a special occasion. Prices are in pic.

Good evening, friends!!! I’ve haven’t been on Facebook much lately. Taking a much needed break as I walk through healing my body, mind, and soul. The disconnect is rather peaceful, but I do miss connecting with people. We’ve been busy around our little farm. We built new raised beds and a new chicken coop, planted our garden and are doing some much needed cleanup. Here’s a few pics to show how things are going. Please let me know what’s going on in your world.

Hey friends!!! We have plenty eggs. Come by and grab some for the weekend! We also have some blackberry vines available…$5 each. A few zinnias and a cosmo…$2 each. Pictures of the flowers last summer/fall. They were spectacular!!! We should be here all day. Stop by!
