Elevated concrete foundations are what we specialize in. This allows for a crawl space for utilities below the foundation. There is a ton of work that goes into making sure each beam is exactly the right specs and that every piece of rebar is exactly where it needs to be per the engineer’s specs. The end result is an incredibly strong foundation that students will end up playing basketball on in the future!

Here’s a crash course into what we do to provide a solid foundation for our elevated work. These piers go down anywhere from 20-40ish feet until they reach load bearing material depending on the geotechnical report. It’s important to hit the nail on the head with these piers because they will be supporting the weight of an auditorium, with a massive crawl space in between the ground. At this job we are drilling 243 piers! Each follow the same process of drilling, placing rebar cages, pouring concrete, and setting sonotubes for piers extensions.
