APM Designs is seeking a licensed contractor to partner on a large kitchen remodel in Suwanee. Work involved will be permitting the job with Gwinnett County, load bearing wall demo, installing temporary support for LVL beam installation, installing LVL beams (already specced by structural engineer), and corresponding support, plumbing, electrical, drywall installation and repair, painting, and trim work. We were so thankful to be able to help out a family in distress. This house was almost completely gutted after extensive fire damage. In the process of rehabbing the structure, we had walls removed to create more open space and reconfigure the kitchen. Unfortunately, we don’t have before pictures to show the before and after. It turned out amazing and the owners, particular the wife, are thrilled to have their kitchen back and even better. She does a lot of baking and cooking, so storage, layout, and functionality were of extreme importance to her. The window bench seating was a nice addition. A sleek, clean, simple look is what they wanted and we delivered. We also installed beautiful LVP flooring throughout the first level of the house. Let us know what you think.

Our work is usually in and kitchen and bath remodeling, not rehabbing 130+ year old homes. When presented with this opportunity in Commerce, GA by some dear friends, we decided to jump on it and take on the challenge. It was a labor of love. Just like any other project, it takes a lot of team work, support, collaboration….. but mostly patience to get it done. It turned out to be a beautiful place. Thank you to D.j. Smith and Angela Smith for the opportunity and being wonderful people through this process. This home is for sale and priced to go quickly.

Making the best use of smaller spaces is a challenge. This one took some time, but turned out great. It is all about collaboration with the customer and thinking outside the box to get the results you want. Budget? We used stock cabinetry by Lifeart with some custom modifications onsite as well as custom painting the customer’s range hood to match the rest of the cabinetry. They saved about $20k with their cabinet budget versus the custom cabinet estimate. Let us know what you think of the results.

Collaboration…. That is the key word for this renovation. We worked closely with the homeowners to make sure they got what they wanted with their new kitchen and bathroom. Tore out and rebuilt one whole section of the house. New wiring, flooring, cabinets, tile, etc. APM Designs is all about collaboration. It is your home. We take your ideas and bring them to life!
